This Home Vegetable Garden blog started as a MeWe.com Group in 2021. This is my first post on the MeWe Group:

“As long as I’m here on MeWe, might as well talk about something I enjoy. Just started home gardening again. I grew up a country girl. Love the dirt under my fingernails.

I’m forced to list this as a Hobby, but it’s more than that to me. If I could create my own label, it would be “Gardening”. FYI: I don’t consider “gardening” and “farming” to be the same thing. Both involve growing plants. That’s about where the similarities end. Farming is a business. Gardening is not necessarily a business, though it can become a business. I had to check myself on the definitions — Farming is commercial — Gardening is defined in one definition as an art. I like that — Gardening is an art! lol
It can also help feed your family. Just saying!

Gardening reminds me of family, sharing, loving, and growing together. I’ll probably use this group mostly to chronicle my own gardening endeavors.
